The city of Follower, Taean County announced that it will hold the first Taean Daffodil Festival from April 1 at Nature World.
This festival, which will be held in the area of Nature World at 115,000 square meters, will show other spring flowers such as tulips and Muscari in addition to daffodils.
The ‘Spring messenger’, which is endowed with winter enough to be called Seoljunghwa(雪中花), is well known as Narcissus legend, and its neat beauty is distinguished by the nickname of fresh or blooming white or yellow flowers.
Taean Flower Festival Committee has selected a daffodil flower as a spring flower about a month earlier than a tulip, and planted a daffodil in a large scale at the event a year ago.
A festival official said, “I will prepare the daffodil festival without any problem so that tourists can enjoy the beautiful spring scenery of Taean.”
In addition to the daffodil festival, Nature World can enjoy the light festival which is open 24/7. In Taean World Tulip Festival will be held from April 19 to May 13 at the Flower Festival Coast Park in Anmyeon-eup.
