The livestream at theaters was intended to overcome the inevitable capacity limits at the concert hall due to COVID-19 and convey a lively atmosphere at the event.

The U.S. magazine Variety on March 13 said the livestreamed concert at theaters raked in USD 32.6 million (KRW 40.2 billion) at the global box office.

“In a rare, one-night-only event, Hybe and Trafalgar Releasing brought the concert to movie theaters across the country to blockbuster results,” it added.

From April 8-9 and 15-16 Pacific Standard Time, the septet is scheduled to hold in-person concerts in Las Vegas.
