Big Bang hits 10 million YouTube subscribers | HaB Korea.net

Big Bang’s official YouTube channel has hit 10 million subscribers and the group will be receiving the Diamond Creator Award from the video streaming site, according to YG Entertainment on Monday.

“Big Bang has once again proved their international popularity to the world as a K-pop group,” announced the agency in an official statement posted on Monday to celebrate Big Bang’s success.

Big Bang hits 10 million YouTube subscribers

The group is now a part of a short list of K-pop groups that have achieved such fame, including Blackpink and BTS. Blackpink, which share the same agency as Big Bang, hit 10 million subscribers at the end of July.

Big Bang has a total of 10 music videos, and each have more than 100 million views. The video for their hit single “Fantastic Baby” has over 360 million views as of Monday.

The group celebrated their 12th anniversary this year, while four of the five members are currently serving in the Army.

The youngest member, Seungri, released a solo album in July and is currently promoting his music both in Korea and abroad.
