BTS confirmed appearance MMA 2020

Following last year’s event, the group BTS will also be on stage at this year’s MMA (Melon Music Awards).

Kakao announced on the 3rd of November that BTS has confirmed its appearance at “MMA 2020,” the nation’s largest pop music awards ceremony for the music platform Melon.

MMA 2020 will be held as an online non-face-to-face festival, with the first week of December (December 2-5) as the “MMA WEEK.”

Marking its 12th anniversary this year, “MMA” is the nation’s largest pop music festival featuring the nation’s top singers who have shone every year.

This year, the program will be carried out online and non-face-to-face in line with the social distance policy for the prevention of COVID-19. Although the physical distance has been far away, it will be filled with a warm award ceremony where fans and artists can communicate more closely and anyone can feel the heat of K-pop.

Attention is focusing on what kind of unconventional performance BTS will surprise audiences around the world in the upcoming “MMA 2020.”

The performances BTS has shown at the MMA (Melon Music Awards) have surprised music fans around the world, and are still being talked about as a legend.

In last year’s “MMA 2019,” BTS won a total of eight awards, including four grand prizes, including albums, artists, best songs, and records, as well as top 10 (TOP10), Kakao Hot Star Award, Netizen Popularity Award and Men’s Dance Award.

In “MMA 2018,” the Korean traditional music version of “IDOL,” featuring Korean customs, and traditional Korean dance were stirring the world with performances, and in 2019, colorful attractions were presented with colorful stage productions and seven performances by each member, adding to the enthusiasm of the awards ceremony.

BTS released its fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” in February this year, making history at the forefront of the global music market, proving itself to be the world’s top artist. In particular, “Dynamite,” which was released in August this year, is the first Korean singer to take the top spot on the Billboard main chart “HOT 100” for two consecutive weeks.
