BTS Confirmed as Performers for The Fact Music Awards

BTS, KPOP sensation that has returned to “Black Swan,” will appear in “The Fact Music Awards, TMA” for the second straight year.

The organizing committee of the “The Fact Music Awards” said on Thursday that the BTS has confirmed its appearance in the second “The Fact Music Awards” at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the afternoon of Feb. 29 and that it will stage the best performance since the release of the new song.

The organizing committee official said that BTS, which has been on a global schedule since the release of the new song, decided to appear for the second consecutive year despite its busy schedule, as the “The Fact Music Awards” is not just a music award ceremony but a K-pop festival that fans and stars create and enjoy together.

Last year, BTS’ RM gave a big meaning to the stage with fans, saying at the TMA awards ceremony that the slogan of the “The Fact Music Awards” is “Shining for Artists, Exciting for Fans,” and that while it may be arrogant to make you shine, I hope it will help you shine a little bit when we are performing on the stage. The upcoming TMA appearance also decided to attend to spend time with fans who have supported him over the past year.

In particular, BTS’ upcoming TMA appearance is expected to draw attention from fans as it will hold its first performance in Korea after the release of its fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SHE SOUL: 7” next month, which will include “Black Swan” on February 21.

On January 28 (local time), the seven members of BTS made an appearance on CBS’ popular television show ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’. What made this appearance even more special was the fact that the members performed to ‘Black Swan’ for the very first time. Dressed up in all-black, the members showed off their groundbreaking stage presence while perfectly delivering the meticulously-designed choreography of the song.

BTS, which will make its first appearance in Korea after its fourth album is released, is paying attention to what song and performance it will make fans excited. BTS won four gold medals, including its first “The Fact Music Awards” last year, “Best Album Award,” “U+Idolive Popularity Award” and “Artist of the Year.” BTS is considered a strong candidate for the main title this time, as he received explosive love from around the world for the whole of 2019.

BTS topped the Billboard 200, the U.S. Billboard’s main album chart, with “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA,” released in April last year. It is the No. 1 spot for three consecutive albums. The album sold 3,718,230 copies (based on Gaon Charts) for the whole of last year.

Buoyed by its all-time achievements, BTS won top duo/group awards at the “American Music Awards” and “Billboard Music Awards” among the top three U.S. K-pop awards. BTS did not win the 62nd Grammy Awards held on 26 January but responded to fans’ support with their stunning performance as the world’s top group.

The artists featured in the second “The Fact Music Awards” at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Feb. 29, which will be the last to hear about BTS’ appearance, have all been confirmed to be the best men’s and women’s 15 teams. The group has built its strongest lineup by joining eight boy bands, including BTS, Super Junior, TWICE, NU’EST, Red Velvet, MONSTA X, MAMAMOO, (G)I-DLE, Kim Chung Ha, Stray Kids, ITZY, The Boyz, N.Flying, TOMORROW x TOGETHER, and IZ.

The Fact Music Awards, which will mark its second anniversary this year, will be held on Feb. 29 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, and will provide fans with an upgraded size, a more colorful lineup, expanded global fans and a passionate performance that will inevitably fall in love with.
