BTS to Perform at 2020 Billboard Music Awards(BBMA)

The group BTS will appear at the “2020 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA).”

Billboard, a U.S. music media outlet, reported on the 1st of October(Eastern U.S. time) that BTS will perform “Dynamite” at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

Billboard said, “The K-pop supergroup will be among other big names in music performing that night. Alicia Keys, Luke Combs, Bad Bunny, Post Malone, Demi Lovato, Sia and En Vogue have also been announced as performers for this year’s ceremony.”

BTS are nominated for best duo/group as well as top social artist (fan voted). Malone leads with 16 nods in 15 different categories.

Since being invited to the Billboard Music Awards for the first time in 2017, BTS has been the only Korean singer to be on the cast list for four consecutive years. At last year’s Billboard Music Awards, BTS won two awards in the categories of Top Duo/Group and Top Social Artist.

The “2020 Billboard Music Awards” will be held at 8 p.m. on the 14th of October at Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, USA, and will be broadcast live on NBC.

With its digital single “Dynamite” released on August 21, BTS newly entered the Billboard singles chart “Hot 100” as the No. 1 spot and stayed at the top for two consecutive weeks. It has returned to No. 1 on Billboard’s latest chart (Oct. 3), gaining popularity not only in the U.S. but also around the world.
