Billboard said that BTS is “bound for No. 1” on the chart, as the chart’s top 10 artists for the week of April 27 is scheduled to reveal on April 21. The Billboard 200 chart is the weekly list of the world’s most popular albums, measuring both physical album sales and online streams.
As soon as its release, BTS’ new album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA’ fascinated the world with the music video of its title track ‘Boy With Luv’ garnering 100 million views in the shortest amount of time on YouTube.
The song also ranked third on Global Top 200 chart of Spotify, the world’s biggest music streaming service provider―makes it the highest ranking any K-pop act has had on the chart.
