For the first time in Korean history, BTS’ Twitter followers topped 20 million. This means that it took 2,350 days since it opened a Twitter account in December 2012 and first started operations.
As of Saturday morning, the number of followers registered on BTS’ Twitter account(twitter.com/bts_twt) exceeded 215,000.

BTS’ official Twitter account surpassed 10 million followers on Nov. 13, 2017. It took about five years to reach 10 million followers, but it took only one and a half years to reach 20 million from 10 million.
BTS is known as “the Beatles of the social media world,” giving it absolute influence. It has greatly contributed to promoting K-pop through Twitter and others.
Meanwhile, BTS finished its sixth performance with 320,000 viewers in the U.S. on the stadium tour “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself”. BTS will continue the tour in São Paulo, Brazil, from May 25-26.
