The collaboration between Starbucks Coffee Korea and BTS has been confirmed. This is the first time that Starbucks will conduct related promotions in collaboration with celebrities.
According to related industries on the 16th of January, BTS promotion will take place from the 21st with a campaign called “Be The Brightest Stars.”

Buy two kinds of campaign food, including campaign cakes, and you can get one “Purple candle.” The promotion ends when all purple candles are exhausted at the store. Campaign cakes are two types of “Purple star cupcakes” and “Purple berries cheesecakes.” Other campaign foods include “Blueberry Star Macaron,” “Vanilla Star Macaron” and “Purple Star Pound.”
Purple berry cheesecakes and blueberry and vanilla star macarons feature chocolate modeled after BTS’ official logo. Purple candles also added “purple” to the BTS official logo, a unique color for BTS fans.
Meanwhile, Starbucks Korea will sponsor the Beautiful Foundation “Youth Independence Project” with proceeds from the BTS collaboration campaign. It has yet to be made public whether or not it will release the MD other than the campaign.
“Since limited sales are mostly limited for cooperative products, consumers have a higher desire to buy products,” an industry source said. “The fact that they can share them through SNS after purchasing is another reason why consumers are enthusiastic about limited products.”
