Fantastic view of autumnal and frost at the top of Deogyusan Mountain

The first ‘Sanggodae’ was formed in the autumn of the year at the top of Deogyusan Mountain in Jeonbuk National Park.

Today, the National Park Service of Deogyusan Mountain in North Jeolla-do Province said that a high-altitude area was formed on a branch near the peak of the national park in Muju County, North Jeolla-do Province. The early morning temperature was minus 4 degrees.

‘Sanggodae’ is sometimes called a tree frost, where water vapor in the atmosphere is sublimated and attached to cooled objects when the night temperature is below zero degrees. It’s more than frost occurs somewhat off the surface.

The Sanggodae of Deogyusan Mountain is observed around the end of October every year, and it was observed more than 20 days earlier this year.
