Melon, a music platform run by Kakao, unveiled the final lineup of artists that will shine on the stage of the country’s largest KPOP music awards “MMA 2019 Imagine by Kia,” which will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Nov. 30.
Following the previously unveiled BTS, MAMAMOO, ChungHa, Heize, Jannabi, monster rookie ITZY, popular band N.Flying and The Boyz, who won the male rookie award at last year’s MMA 2018, confirmed their appearance.
MMA 2019 plans to introduce a new and even more stunning performance this year in line with its theme, “FULL OF SURPRISES.” From BTS’ new performance, which drew global attention last year with all-time performances, to the massive performance combining the genre of the monster rookie ITZY, TXT, AB6IX, Kang Daniel the all-time MMA stage is expected to take place.
Also under the theme of ‘The Music for Tomorrow,’ N.Flying plans to perform with a hopeful message from music. The Boyz, who showed tremendous growth by winning the MMA 2018 Rookie of the Year award last year, will sway fans with musical compositions and dance performances under the concept of “Boys in Neverland.”
MMA 2019 will be broadcast live online and mobile through Melon, YouTube 1 TheK channel and KakaoTalk #MMA Tab. Live viewing is possible right away on Melon and YouTube 1theK channels, and “Talk Premium View” on KakaoTalk #MMA Tab, which allows users who have the right to watch the show, to enjoy a total of 11 different screens, including the main screen, as desired.
Meanwhile, the second round of online voting, which will determine winners of popular and music styles awards along with major awards such as the Artist and Best Song awards, will close today (Nov 29).
There are growing expectations among fans who will appear the candidates in each category, which is in a tight race. The online second round of voting is open to any Melon member on the MMA 2019 official website PC Web and mobile.
