Items given to a self-isolated Pinay woman by the Korean government

The daily necessities support for people who are under self-isolation of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) are drawing keen attention from overseas.

A Filipino woman living in South Korea posted a post titled ‘What an amazing Country!!!’ on her Facebook page on April 3.

The post shows photos of Korea’s supporting items for self-isolation such as rice, instant noodles, instant food, toilet paper, eggs, masks and etc.

The post quickly became a hot topic, receiving more than 45,000 ‘Like’ and exceeding 20,000 shares.

Currently, South Korean local governments provide daily necessities and food supplies to not only Koreans but also foreigners to ensure that they do not feel uncomfortable during the two-week period of self-isolation.

With many countries having difficulties in proper quarantine and treatment, South Korea is envied as a model country for the COVID-19.
