The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it agreed to lift the quota of 31,500 passengers per week and unlimited flights at the v Airlines conference held in Seoul on November 7 – 8.

The Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs said the nationals operating on Manila currently operate 12,220 seats per week and are large enough to come to Manila.
Currently, Korean nationals are using all 35,150-seat Filipino quotas, while Philippine airlines are also consuming 26,800 seats a week.
In Korea, the increase in low-cost airlines (LCC) has led to a steady demand for flights to Cebu and Boracay.
In the Philippines, as recently as an airline is preparing for a new flight to Korea, the need to expand the quota has prompted the Philippine side to propose negotiations to our aeronautical authorities first.
An official from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said, “This agreement has freed us to the Philippines, which has been restricted in the meantime.” It is expected that consumer convenience will increase as competition between the two airlines is promoted.”
