Online KPOP Concert 'Trip to K-POP' will be held

K-pop stars gather in one place for the world tired of COVID-19. Hosted and organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency at the CKL Stage in Jung-gu, Seoul for three days from 19th to 21st of May, the untact performance “Trip to K-pop” will be held.

“LAN Music Travel-Trip to K-pop” is a performance by K-pop idols and other Korean musicians to console and cheer the world’s people who are struggling with COVID-19. For those around the world who are frustrated with “stay in-home” by COVID-19, they will propose a “line music trip to Korea” while delivering a message of support to overcome difficulties together in line with the subtitle “We shall overcome.”

For this, 12 local musicians, including iKon, OH MY GIRL, Soran, Daybreak and Isaac Hong and more will participate. Under MC B1A4 Sandeul’s hosting, iKON, Soran, Bibi and NATTY will open the show on Wednesday, followed by Kim Jae-hwan, April, Daybreak and Isaac Hong on Tuesday. On Monday, Oh My Girl, KARD, Balming Tiger, Samuel Seo and Martin Smith will be the highlight of the performance.

From May 19 – 21, the concert will be broadcast live on SBS MTV and SBS FiL on SBS MediaNet from 7 p.m. In addition, it will be broadcast live online, including Naver Vlive, U+ Idol Live app, YouTube Korea Creative Content Agency and THE K-pop channel, and will also provide opportunities for musicians and fans to communicate through real-time chat via the U+ Idol Live app.
