Red Velvet, KPOP Girls Group’s first ‘Billboard World Album Chart 4 times # 1’

Red Velvet was the first KPOP girl group to record the first place on the Billboard World Album charts in the US 4 times.


The Red Velvet was ranked No. 1 on the US Billboard World album chart released on November 28 with the perfect 2nd album “Perfect Velvet” released on the 17th. After the first album ‘The Red’, Mini 4 ‘Rookie’, and 2017 summer mini album ‘The Red Summer’.

In particular, the first place on the 4th Red Velvet Billboard World Album chart is the first KPOP girl group and an equal record as the No. 1 KPOP singer.

Billboard’s “Red Velvet Tie for Most No. 1 on World Albums Chart Among All KPOPs” on its Web site on the 28th November(local time), “Red Velvet waved this week’s Billboard World album chart rankings and showed the group power. The title track ‘Peek-A-Boo’, the title track of the Red Velvet 2nd album, is ranked #1 on the download chart for the fourth week of November, as well as maintaining the top of all domestic music charts. In the music charts of Korea, Red Velvet is in the top spot on the 13 days in the strait, so they confirm the hot popularity of the Red Velvet which continues the hit march.
