The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said on 13th December, Thursday that it will start snowing in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province early this morning and expand to the central region in the morning.

Snow is expected to fall 1 to 3 centimeters in southern Gyeonggi Province, southern Gangwon Province, mountainous areas in Gangwon Province, and other areas in North Chungcheong Province.

The lowest temperature in the morning of December 13th is minus 5 degrees Celsius in Seoul and minus 9 degrees Celsius in Yeongwol.

The highest temperature in the day will be 2 degrees Celsius to 9 degrees Celsius across the country.

“As the cold continental high pressure expands in the north and west, the temperature in the morning will drop below minus 10 degrees Celsius in northern Gyeonggi Province and northern Gangwon Province,” the Korea Meteorological Administration said.
