Seoul, first Snowfall accumulated this winter

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), strong weather warning is in effect at Chungcheong area and Daejeon, Sejong, Gyeonggi Osan, Pyeongtaek, Anseong, Hwaseong, Jeonbuk, Wanju, Muju, Iksan, Jinan, Jangsu and Imsil. The snowstorm warning comes into effect when 24-hour snow that accumulates on snow is expected to be over 5 cm.


At this time, 1.3 ㎝ snow was accumulated in Seoul. In Seoul, snow fell on the 17th and 20th November, but this is the first time snow has accumulated on the ground. In addition, Cheongju 4.6 ㎝, Daejeon 4.4 ㎝, Suwon 4.1 ㎝, Jeonju 0.9 ㎝, Daegu 0.2 ㎝ are recording snowfall. When closed-circuit (CC) TV was observed, it recorded a snowfall of 8.5 ㎝ in Chungbuk Province, 6.5 ㎝ in Jecheon, 4.5 ㎝ in Chungnam Province, 7.0 ㎝ in Jeonbuk Province, 5.5 ㎝ in length and 5.0 ㎝ in Rim.

An official of the Korea Meteorological Administration said, “The snow was accumulated for the first time except for Kangwon Mountain,” he said. “It is snowing all over the country due to the influence of the treadmill. The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) has urged people to pay attention to facility management and traffic safety, which are expected to snow in the southern part of Gyeonggi, Chungcheong and Jeonbuk until daytime.
