Singer and actor Yoona will celebrate her upcoming birthday by releasing an EP, SM Entertainment announced on Thursday.
“Yoona will release a special album on May 30, her birthday, to celebrate the day with her fans,” the agency said. Her five-track EP, titled “A Walk to Remember,” will be released at 6 p.m. on both local and overseas online music streaming platforms including Melon, Flo, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, Kugou Music and Kuwo Music.
“‘A Walk to Remember’ features songs that will suit the different vibes of all the four seasons, allowing listeners to feel like they’re taking a memorable walk with Yoona,” SM explained.
The EP will include not only new songs, such as the lead track, “Summer Night,” but also music she has released in the past.
Yoona, a member of veteran girl group Girls’ Generation, has proved herself as both a top singer and actor, pursuing diverse fields in the entertainment industry. In addition to being a part of one of Korea’s top girl groups, she has starred in a number of dramas and movies, such as “Confidential Assignment”
