In order to be exempted from quarantine, two weeks must pass after vaccination is completed in countries such as Pfizer, Janssen, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Covishield (AZ-India Serum Institute), Sinopham and Sinobac vaccines, which have been approved by the World Health Organization. The Russian vaccine has not yet been included.

In addition, applications for exemption from quarantine, family relationship certificates, vaccination certificates, and vows should be submitted to overseas missions.

However, even those who have completed the vaccination cannot be exempted from quarantine if they enter from countries with a mutant virus such as South Africa and Brazil. Thirteen countries, including South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, and Chile, are eligible.

The government said it will conduct a total of three diagnostic tests of Covid-19 before and after entering the country, and check whether Covid-19 clinical symptoms occur through mandatory installation of self-diagnosis apps after entering the quarantine management will be more thorough.
