Leeteuk of boy band Super Junior and Lia of girl group ITZY will grab MC Mike of “9th Gaon Chart KPOP Music Awards.”
Leeteuk and Lia will be in charge of hosting the ninth annual “Gaonchat Music Awards” award ceremony, the Korea Music Content Association, the organizer of the event.
“Please look forward to the first combination of Lia’s English proficiency and various hosting experiences, including Leeteuk’s special MC for music broadcasting and special MC for K-pop festival, which shows their smooth progress and witty lips.”
The Gaon Chart Music Awards, also known as the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards, is major music awards show that is held annually in South Korea by the national music record chart Gaon Chart. The “Gaon Chart Music Awards” is a k-pop music festival ceremony based on “Gaonchart” data that combines and aggregates data from local music platforms and distribution companies of physical albums.
The ninth award ceremony, in which Leeteuk and Ria will be the MC, will be held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on Jan. 8 next year (2020).
