Holidays in Nepal

5 NIGHTS & 6 DAYS NEPAL HOLIDAYS:

Day 1 Kathmandu

Upon arrival meet and greet and transfer to hotel. Leave for local sightseeing tour to Swoyambunath stupa known as monkey temple-oldest Buddhist stupa situated on a hill rock overlooking Kathmandu valley and eastern Himalayan ranges. This stupa is one of the most important UNESCO world heritage site. After swoyambhunath stupa you will be driven to another important UNESCO world heritage site-Kathmandu Durbar Square – Kumari temple (Temple of Living Goddess). You will witness Old Durbar Square, Kasth-mandap temple, Kumari temple, various other old temple. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2 Kathmandu Sightseeing – Nagarkot 

After breakfast, leave for local sightseeing tour to Boudhnath Stupa – one of the biggest and oldest stupa of the world, and Pashupatinath temple – the oldest and most sacred Hindu temple of the world. Both the temple and stupa are UNESCO’s world heritage sites. Return to hotel for check out and proceed on local city tour to Patan, Durbar Square. Inside Durbar Square, you will witness an old palace, a stone temple, Buddhist stupas, courtyards, waterspouts etc. After Patan city tour, you will proceed to Bhaktapur, Durbar Square, a well preserved fine UNESCO world heritage site where you will witness the 55-window palace, the Golden Gate, Nyatapole temple, stone temple and many more. Overlooking the Nyatapoles temples. Proceed to Nagarkot. After getting refreshed, walk around the villages to witness day to day life of Nepalese villagers. Enjoy a sunset with full eastern Himalayan mountain ranges including the world’s highest peak- Mount Everest, weather permitting of course. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 3 Nagarkot/Pokhara 

Wake up early to see the sunrise on the Himalayan ranges including Mount Everest. After breakfast, drive around, passing through valleys, rivers, terrace fields and some spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. Arrive in Pokhara and check into hotel

 

Day 4 Pokhara Sightseeing 

Wake up early to catch the magnificient sunrise at Sarankot vantage point, overlooking the western Himalayan range. An opportunity to bask in the first rays of sun bursting through the awe-inspiring Himalayan Mountains. Next, return to hotel to get refreshed. After breakfast, we will visit a number of interesting destinations. Starting with the alluring Davi’s fall, a unique waterfall which travels through a natural tunnel before it escapes into the deep canal. Another fascinating site to visit is the Seti George, a deep gorge through the middle of the town formed by the roaring Seti River, which turns the water milky white in the process. As we approach the Old City, its traditional bazaar welcomes you in a myriad of colours and activities. Not far away is the Bindabasini Temple dedicated to the guardian deity of the city, which affords you with an amazing panoramic view of Pokhara town. Get ready to soak up the soothing ambience of Fewa Lake in your 1-hour boat ride. Return to hotel for  rest.

Day 5 Pokhara to Kathmandu 

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Check in and rest of the day is free and easy. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 Kathmandu – Departure  

After breakfast, rest of the day free at leisure and check out for return flight to fly back home with sweet memories of Nepal.
